“The Brother’s Keeper”

During a Carnival Cruise through the Panama Canal, I chose to take an excusion into the Jungle where I found a village. Here is a shot of 3 brothers that were watching me shooting images.
I looked over and caught his expression. He was the oldest of 3 bothers, I call it "The Brothers Keeper".

911

When the second plane hit the tower I knew right away that the World as I knew it had just changed. For 3 days it seemed like the World had stopped. The phone stopped ringing so to speak.
I made this image to help me describe what I felt.
Once I saw the image printed, it was time to try and move on.

"Broken Promises"

I went to Fort Apache, Arizona with this torn American Flag. I was on a mission to find a Native American in which to drape with the flag and take this portrait. The history of how the "West Was Won" has always amazed me. In the end we basically destroyed their culture, took their land and introduced them to alcohol.
This is Ralph; he is an Apache Native American. I found Ralph walking on Route 73, 3 miles outside of Fort Apache, Arizona.
I call this portrait "Broken Promises"
